Graham Oberland

Graham is a proud graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead-Cain scholar, and holds an MBA from UPenn’s Wharton School and a Masters of International Relations from Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He spent 5 years as a strategy consultant in Deloitte’s public sector practice, where he mapped and analyzed thousands of entities in complex supply chains for defense sector clients, building interest and expertise in small businesses crucial to the US industrial base. Graham also led D2i, Deloitte’s flagship social impact fellowship, and then served as Director of Operations for Stage Six, a company focusing on growing socially impactful businesses through franchising. Through this work he created growth strategies for social entrepreneurs in India, Mexico, Nicaragua, Rwanda, and Uganda. Graham currently serves as Director of Systems Innovation & Policy at Rural Opportunity Institute (ROI), a start-up nonprofit in eastern North Carolina dedicated to breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma and poverty. His role as CEO of Medium Orange Group combines his experience in the business and social impact sectors.
